We kept it light and playful as we were getting ready for our long journey home. We didn't school many movements and rather worked on the connection. We played around with the trot (small trot, passagey trot, bigger trot) as apposed to schooling actual collected trot, extended trot, passage, etc.
A short clip with some training highlights.
Diesel on our flight from Los Angeles, California to Liege, Belgium. He had great company, a nine month old Knabstrupper colt.
"Goodbyes are always not my thing - especially not when it comes to Kasey and her Diesel. The two were here for two months to learn and refine the Grand Prix "craft". Together they have already won and placed in the international Small Tour in their home country, the USA. And now it continues with Pi and Pa. The two of them are a great couple, they are very well coordinated and do a really great job together. By the way, if the name Diesel caught your attention - yes, that's right, it's Damsey's younger full brother. Funny, the two really have a lot in common, even if the brown colour and the wide blaze don't necessarily suggest the relationship at first glance. Both with incredible potential - and both with a real personality. Must be in the genes đ Kasey and Diesel have already arrived in sunny California - and from now on our training continues online."

A trip two years in the making was finally able to come true. American Hanoverian Society member Kasey Cannon and her Hanoverian dressage stallion, Diesel CF, embarked on a 60-day life-changing journey this past year when they boarded a Qatar Airways flight to Billerbeck, Germany to train with German Olympian, Helen Langehanenberg. Kasey and Dieselâs journey began when Kasey reached out to Damseyâs owner, Susanne Meyer, to inquire if training with Helen would be an option for her. Immediately Kasey was put into contact with Helen and their dream turned into reality.

âOur immersion into the elite dressage world was an eye-opening and transformative experience. I came home with a renewed enthusiasm for our sport, and I canât wait to continue to show our small world just how incredible Diesel is.â
âHe [Damsey FRH] was the connector with all of this. I bought my horse in early 2016, about the same time Helen was offered the ride on Damsey as a 14-year-old Grand Prix stallion. I was on a journey with them, watching year after year how Helen did better and better with this amzing horse. It was really fun to se
